Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, John W. Peach of Small Point, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents William and Hazel Peach, sister Viola Butt. Leaving to mourn wife Jean; three sons: Verdon (Annette), Gary (Michele) and Clyde (Jackie), all of Small Point; six grandchildren: Shelley (Jamie), Adam, Mark (Lorna), Megan (Dustin), Matthew and David (Anna); two great-grandchildren: Owen and Jenna; one brother: Melvin Peach (Shirley), Cambridge, ON; three sisters: Marina (Wallace) Harney, Blackhead, Elsie (Peter) Kelloway and Jean (John) Vanderheyden, both of Cambridge, ON; brother-in-law: Warrick Butt, Carbonear, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, June 25, at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.
