Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 Carrie Adelphia(Delphie) Green age 85 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by her parents John and Caroline Decker; 8 sisters and 6 brothers. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Ammon; daughter Gloria Smith(Robert) of St. John’s; sons Clifford(Jeannine) of Pound Cove, Baxter(Florence) of Newtown, Lorne(Jan) of St. John’s, Gerald(Betty) of Gander, Cyril(Shelly) of Pound Cove, Perry(Tammy) of Gander and Dean of Pound Cove; sister Evelyn Rose of Flower’s Cove; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of extended family and many friends. Funeral service took place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Pound Cove on Saturday, June 25, 2011 with Rev. Shaun O’Connor officiating. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Pound Cove.
