RUSSELL, Melva Ann (nee Rowe) - Passed away at home on Sunday, November 16, 2008, surrounded by all her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Rex. Left with fond and loving memories daughters, Sonya (Michael Evans), Glenda (Clyde Crews), June (Ronald Merrikin) and Rhonda (Robert Osmond) and one son Rick (Mary). Also left to mourn are brothers Maxwell (Dorothy), Edmund (Shirley) of Chance Cove, sisters in law, Alicia Rowe, St. John’s, Doris Rowe, Mt. Pearl, Alma Rowe, Lewisporte, Trixie Haynes, Clarenville, Elsie Roberts, Port Union, brothers-in-law Raymond Pike, Grand Falls, and Jim Russell, Hearts Content, grandchildren Paul (Jane), Carolyn, Lewis (Kim), Mark (Lisa), Chris, Billy (Jocelyn), Elizabeth Ann, Sean, and Ryan, great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyle, Megan, Paige, Carter, Dean, Noah and Isiah and a large number of nieces and nephews. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday and Tuesday 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service in Topsail United Church, Topsail on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment in the United Cemetery, Topsail. No flowers by request.
