BATTEN, WENDY DARLENE – The unexpected death of Wendy Batten, beloved wife of Ivan Batten occurred at her residence on June 25, 2011. She was born on February 25, 1960 in Saint John to the late George and Stella (Sheehan) Brewing. Wendy devoted her life to her family she was a loving wife and mother. Besides her husband Ivan, Wendy is survived by her son, Matthew Batten (Amanda); her daughter, Amanda; brothers: Peter Brewing (Andrea), Rick Brewing (Kim), George Brewing and Rosanne Harley, (Frank McKinnon) and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her niece, Karla Melvin.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There will be no visitation, the Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
