CUDMORE, ALTHEA J. - Althea J. Cudmore, 76, of The Drew Nursing Home, Sackville and formerly of Moncton, with loving family members at her side, passed away at her residence on Friday, June 24, 2011. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Daisy (McConnell) Brown. Althea was a retired clerk/typist at The Moncton Hospital and attended Parkside Baptist Church. She was former director of the AWANA group, former Sunday School Teacher and Pioneer Guide for many years all within her church. Althea enjoyed flower gardening, reading, watching her favorite television shows, researching family history, socializing with her friends and spending precious time with her family. Althea will be sadly missed by her children, Melanie Hale of Moncton, Kenda Lynn (Graham) of Upper Coverdale, Glenn Cudmore (Lori) of Moncton, Cheryl Johnson (Blake) of Steeves Mountain and Roxanne Connors (Terry) of Moncton; precious grandchildren, Shane, Audra, Alicia, Nicholas, Christopher, Tara, Drew, Michael, Chelsea and Erin; cherished great grandchildren, Garrett and Grace; brother, Dale Brown (Susan) of Moncton; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Cudmore (1993).

Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Gordon Horsman officiating.
