August 07, 1914 - September 08, 2009. Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, Gwendolyn Russell in her 95th year. Predeceased by son William, January 1996. Left behind to celebrate her life are her Husband of 73 years, John (Captain Jack Russell); sons: Everett (Alice), Horace (Enid), John (Minnie); Daughters: Jennie Joy (John), Sheila Porter (Lloyd); daughter-in-Law Edith ; sister Jacqueline Piercey; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service took place Friday, September 11th from Christ Church, Bonavista with burial at the Anglican Cemetery.
