It is with great sadness that the family of the late William (Buck) Bennett announce his peaceful passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the age of 82 years.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons; Don Bennett (fiancé Lori Donovan), Dean Bennett, his grandsons; Ethan Bennett (poppy’s little man) and Jason Bennett, brothers; Theodore Bennett (Mary), Tony Bennett (Gail), sisters; Selina Bennett, Joan McLeoud (Sid), brothers-in-law; Jacob Jackson, Albert Jackson (Alma), Junior Jackson (Betty), sister-in-law; Marie James (Gerald) as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is predeceased by his loving wife Edna Bennett, brothers; Joe Bennett, Bernard Bennett, and Don Bennett, step sister-in-law Eileen Jackson, parents; Douglas & Genevive Benoit, mother & father-in-law Ethel & Amos Jackson.  Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral, Mount Bernard on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating.  Interment to take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.  The family guest book may be signed or memorial donations may be made by visiting our website at www.country-haven.ca.
