BLACKMORE, Alberta (Blackwood) – Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte on Monday, November 17, 2008, Alberta Blackmore, aged 85 years, of Trinity, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by her husband Wilson (July 2005). Leaving to mourn 10 children: Phyllis Standing (Lloyd), Louise Feltham (Llewellyn), Betty Shaw (Gord), Albert (Edna), Perry (Sadie), Ruth Bakan (Wilf), Wilson (Elaine), David (Matilda), Roger (Kathy) and Jerry. Also leaving to mourn 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Alberta was the last adult pioneer from the Cutler’s side. Resting at St. Alban’s Church, Trinity, Bonavista Bay on November 18 from 2 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, November 19 at 2 p.m. from St. Alban’s Church with Rev. R. Trevors officiating.
