Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay on Saturday, June 25, 2011 Margaret Hoyles age 92 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Maggie Perry; step-mother Alice Perry; husband Baxter Hoyles; sister Eleanor Bishop; brothers Aubrey, Baxter and Maurice; sons-in-law Calvin Blagdon and Allan Hounsell; daughter-in-law Elaine Parsons; great-grandson Nicholas Blagdon; sister-in-law Dorothy Perry. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Ken(Peggy) of Brookfield, John(Sadie) of Mt. Pearl, Eric(Jeannine) of Valleyfield, Scott of Badger’s Quay and Grant(Darlene) of Pound Cove; daughters Jane Blagdon of Mt. Pearl, Marina Kean(Russell) of Pound Cove, Irene Burry(Otto) of Valleyfield and Marilyn Johnson(Tom) of St. John’s; sister Susie Tulk (Lloyd) of Appleton; sister-in-law Alice Perry of Torbay; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service took place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Pound Cove on Monday, June 27, 2011 with Rev. Shaun O’Connor officiating. Interment followed at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Pound Cove.
