It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion May Pardy announce her very peace-ful passing at her home in Grand Falls-Windsor on June 24th, 2011 at the age of 87. May was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Allan; grand-daughter Krista Pardy and grandson David Doiron, Jr. Also predeceased by sister: Ida Tubrett; brothers: Cyril Howse, Bill Howse, Ken Howse, Henry Howse, and George Howse; brothers-in-law: Milton Pardy, Mike Tubrett; and sisters-in-law: Dora Howse, Mary Howse, and Josephine Howse. May leaves with fond and loving memories her children; son Harve (Ruth) Pardy of Grand Falls-Windsor, daughter Nancy (Dave) Doiron of Grand Falls-Windsor, son Tony (Wanda) Pardy of Corner Brook; and daughter Denise (Cliff) Chippett of Leading Tickles; brother Harve (Mick) Howse; sisters-in-law Roberta Howse and Maude Howse. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren: Tina Pardy (Frank); Aimee Doiron; Eldon Murray; Andrew Chippett; niece Louise Gorman, and a large circle of family and friends. Rev. Randy Lockyer conducted the funeral service at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel on Monday, June 27th at 2p.m. Interment was at the Anglican Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tony Pardy, Dave Doiron, Cliff Chippett, Andrew Chippett, Dave Howse, and Doug Tubrett. Honourary Pallbearer was Harve Howse. Donations in May’s memory may be made to Children’s Wish Foundation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
