Passed away peacefully after a short illness, Alfred James Janes (Corp). He is survived by wife Bernice, son Courtney (Jackie Casey) of Golden BC, daughter Natalie (Keith Power) of Paradise, NL, and four precious grand- children Liam, Emma, Evan and Ella. Also left to mourn are brothers: Steve (Pat) of St. John’s, Fred (Anne) of Grand Falls, sisters: Jean Knibb (Fred), Deanna Bartlett (Ray) of Port Elgin ON, and Sandra Thomson (Frank) of Grand Falls. At Corp’s request, cremation has already taken place. A memorial mass will be held in Holy Rosary Church, Pasadena on July 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
