(St. John’s, N.L., July 11th, 1941 - September 8th, 2009)– Passed quietly away with courage and dignity while surrounded by his family, Bob Cole, age 68 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 48 years, Madonna (nee Mercer); son: Robert (Marg); daughters: Tina (Paul), Stacey (Ty); granddaughter Machaela and grandson Glen; four sisters-in-law: Peggy, Ada, Lila, Elizabeth and their families; special friends: Brian Rutherford, Sheila Vincent and Jackie Furlong. He will also be sadly missed by the many friends and neighbours he touched during his lifetime. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service, as per his wishes.
