Erma Arseneau
The death of Erma Arseneau, age 94, of River Hebert, occurred at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre on Sunday, June 26, 2011
Born in River Hebert, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Burbine) Burbine.
Erma enjoyed cooking, knitting and word search books. She was well known for her famous chicken pottie and white fruit cake. There was always a bowl of ice cream for all her grandchildren.
Survived by her husband of 74 years, Albert; daughters, Anne Arseneault (Eddie), Carolyn Wilson (Richard "Butch"), Ruth Poplar, Cathy Arseneau all of River Hebert, NS; sons, Gornall (Lisette) of Moncton, Reginald (Linda) of Dieppe, NB; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brothers, John, Murray & Harold,a dear son in law Terry Poplar.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Furlong- Jones Funeral Home, River Hebert with visiting hours on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul The Apostle, River Hebert on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. Father David MacDonald officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie.
