Trenton - Mildred Elizabeth McInnis, age 77, of the Shiretown Nursing Home and formerly of Trenton, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (MacKay) Leadbetter. She was a member of the First United Church. She was an avid card player. She is survived by a sister: Geraldine “Gerry” Cantley, Shiretown Nursing Home; niece: Cheryl LeBlanc, Pictou; grandniece: Lisa (Allen) Rutledge; grandnephews: Russell (Karen) LeBlanc; Billy (Colleen) LeBlanc. She was predeceased by her husband Angus. Visitation from 1 until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm Wednesday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, Rev. Dr. Ken MacLeod officiating.
