TORONTO/NEW GLASGOW – Sarah Mary “Tootie” McQuinn, 87, Toronto, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Toronto.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Mary Ellen “Mame” (MacKenzie) and William Hugh Chisholm. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Surviving are her daughter, Pat (Clive) Meeson and their daughter, Quinn; son, Barry (Cathy) McQuinn and their children, Grant, Keri and Robert; sister, Mary Dee; brother, Bill Chisholm; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward McQuinn; brothers, Dan, Roddie and Herbie Chisholm.
The family will receive visitors 1-1:50 p.m. Thursday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Father Peter MacDonald presiding. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. www.pkmacdonald.ca
