Sarah Louise (MacSween) Dansereau, 71, formerly of Sydney, has passed away in the beautiful, friendly town of Ennis, Texas, after a brief illness.
She had made the United States her home for the past 50 years.
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Armond; parents, Nora and Hugh MacSween; sister, Evelyn MacDonald and brothers-in-law, Rev. James ‘Sonny’ MacDonald and Wilfred Reid.
Surviving are sister, Helen Reid of Sydney and sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Eric Clarke, Enfield, N.S.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.E. Keaver Mortuary Inc., Ennis Texas.
Louise’s ashes will be brought back home to Cape Breton for her final resting place.
A private service will be held for Louise later this summer.
