Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke’s Beach on Sunday, September 13, 2009, Mary Bishop of Cupids, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband, Roy Bishop, parents, Gilbert (Sarah Jane) Andrews, brothers, Charles (Stella), David (Flora), Victor (Harriett), Samuel (Greta), Roy (Florence), sisters, Annie (Albert) Ralph, Louise Andrews. Leaving to mourn, sons, Philip (Eliza), Roy (Dorothy Deceased), Douglas (Maureen), Edgar (Carolann), daughters, Winnifred (Frank), Barbara (Joshua), Dallis (Guy), sister, Elizabeth (William Deceased) Earl, sisters-in-law, Sybil Dawe, Vera Bishop, twenty grandchildren, thirty nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Monday, 2 to 9 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Port-de-Grave interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Burnt Head, Cupids.
