He leaves to mourn his loving family; Wife: Eileen Green, Sister: Adelaide King, Sister-in-law: Agatha Green, Brother-in-law: Harold (Bessie) King, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Francis (Elizabeth) Green; sister: Margaret; brothers: James (Phoebe), Maxwell (Marjorie), Nelson (Blanche) and Richard. The funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican church, Carbonear with interment at Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral home, Powell Drive, Carbonear between the hours of Sunday 7 to 9:30 p.m.; Monday 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
