It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gabrielle Dionne. She passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 73 on June 25th, 2011 with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Willow Bunch, SK on January 3rd, 1938. Gabe will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Larry; her children, Angelle (Don), Maurice (Louise), and Dorraine; her grandchildren, Damara (Trevor), Reesey (Tyson), Dustin (Alicia), Desiree and Jessica (Cass); step-grandchildren, Caitlin and Nolan; and great-grandchildren, Anessa, Daylan, Preston, Devon, Liam, Nevaeh and baby #7; along with several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jean Pascal and Lumina (neé Roy) Bonneau; brothers, Albert, Treffle and Florent; and sisters, Jeanine and Dorraine. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 30th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Father Carlos Jimenez will officiate. A Funeral Service will be held in Willow Bunch Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gabrielle’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
