Passed away suddenly at his home in Conception Harbour, Sept. 12, 2009, surrounded by his loving family, Bernard C. Wade, age 85 years, lifelong member of Ironworkers Local 764. Predeceased by his father William and mother Agnes, brother Fred and sisters Stella, Catherine and Clara, also his granddaughter Kelly Ann Cleary. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Elizabeth of 63 years; his five daughters Agnes (Clarence), Winnie (Cyril), Lorraine (Joe), Carol Ann (Ted) and Margie (Butch); four sons Bernie (Christine), Larry (Edie), Fred (Colleen) and Danny (Michelle); twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters Margaret O’Driscoll and Mildred Kenny and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral home, Conception Harbour. Visitation Sunday 2 to 9 p.m.; Monday 12 noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Anne’s Church, Conception Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
