The death occurred suddenly at Desable on Monday, June 27, 2011, of Daniel B. MacEwen age 50 years. Husband of Shelley (nee Surette). Beloved father of Kristopher (Kaelin) and Justin MacEwen. Dear son of Harvey and Margaret MacEwen. Dear brother of Danny (Debbie) Ferguson, Pamela and Garth (Leann) MacEwen. Dear uncle of Steven, Amanda, and Tera Ferguson, and Hannah and Cole MacEwen. Brother-in-law of Tony (Gail deceased) and Charles (Tammy) Surette. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, for visitation on Wednesday, June 29, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday from the South Shore United Church, Tryon, at 2 p.m. Interment in Crapaud People's Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to Joy Riders, Crapaud Exhibition Association or in trust for Justin MacEwen would be greatly appreciated.
