It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric L. Norris announce his passing at the CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor on June 27, 2011 at the age of 76. Eric retired from Safety Supplies. He was predeceased by parents John & Lillian Norris; brothers George and Lionel; sisters Jean Roberts, Annie Payne, and brother-in-law Allan Payne. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 56 years, Bertha; sons: Alfred (Donna) of Ontario; Allan (Fern) of Ontario; Ronnie of Buchans; daughters: Christine Pretty of Ontario; Joan Barker (Glen “Freddie”) of Grand Falls-Windsor; Denise Churchill of Alberta; and Judy Norris (Troy) of Ontario. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers: Obe (Violet) and Max (Pearl); sisters: Rita Hobbs and Alma Bowers, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the Howell Family of Badger, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Following Eric’s wishes there will not be a funeral service. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes Ltd.
