Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, Mary Codner, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her parents William and Alice Kearsey, mother-in-law and father-in-law Anastacia and William Codner, brother John, brothers-in-law Joe Cull, Alfred Moakler, Roy Codner, Joseph Codner and sister-in-law Maurica Codner. Leaving to mourn with wonderful memories her husband of 53 years, Bill; sons Barry (Marie), Gene (Wanda), Noel (Doris), Jerome (Cathy), Sean, Dean (Jackie); grandchildren Andrew, Maryann, Daniel, Andrew, Nicole, Kira, Alice, Jordan, Justin (mother Sheri), Megan, Taylor, Jillian, Nicholas; sisters and brothers Helen Cull, Ann Moakler, Tom Kearsey (Ann), Ag Ansara (Joe), Frank Kearsey (Mary), Jack Kearsey (Sylvia), Pat Kearsey (Nora), Patricia, Mercedes Patton (Doug), Bill Kearsey (Diane); brothers and sisters-in-law Margie Spurrell (Ray), Theresa Kline (Ralph), Richard Codner (Carol), Sandy Codner, Mary Nolan, Hubert Codner (Odell), Paddy Codner (Martha); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and relatives, and life long friends John and Marg Hickey and the many dear friends and neighbours on Mannings Hill. Special thanks to her health care team, especially Dr. Joy McCarthy of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, July 1st, at 2:00 p.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at the R.C.
