Passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 26, 2011, Michael Francis Shea of Pouch Cove, age 66 years. Predeceased by his father Jack Shea 1988, mother Lucy 1999, sister Gladys 1949, father and mother-in-law Joseph and Mary Trahey. Left to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Doreen (nee Trahey); two sons, whom he cherished more than life itself, Mike and Shawn; sisters: Margaret (Doug), Mary (Johnny), Donna (Ed), Genny (Wayne); brothers: Leo (Lorna) and John (Annette); sisters-in-law: Mary (Frank), Sheila (Vince); brothers-in-law: Joe (Joan), John, Gerard (Carrie) and Loyola; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews and other family and friends, especially his cousin Leonard Penton (Doreen). Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 2nd at 10:30 a.m. from St. Agnes’ Church, Pouch Cove.
