Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Monday, September 14, 2009 with her family by her side of Shirley Frances Williams, R.N., of the Rev. W. J. Phillips Residence, Alberton and formerly of Elmsdale, age 65 years. Beloved wife of the late George Williams who predeceased her in October of 1998. Born on June 1, 1944 she was the daughter of Vera (nee Barnett) Murray of the Rev. W. J. Phillips Residence, Alberton and the late Warburton Murray. Loving mother to Kelly Dawn (Graig) Oliver of Alberton; Whitney (Shelley) of Elmsdale; and Derek (Kelly) of Alberton. Cherished grandmother to Krista-Lee Katie and Luke Oliver, George and Mary Frances Williams. Dear sister to Kevin (Jean) of Piusville; and Whitney (Faye) of Elmsdale. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton until noon Wednesday, then to the Elmsdale United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Sue Patterson officiating. Interment in the Elmsdale United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired memorials to the West Prince Music Festival or to the Elmsdale United Church Cemetery fund would be gratefully appreciated.
