Passed peacefully away on September 13, 2009, at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home at the age of 86. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Allister Butler and brother, Jack Cocker. Survivors include her son Richard and daughter-in-law Georgina and three nieces and four nephews. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Church and past president of the altar guild. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 7-8:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Westerland Road. Interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
