RAYNES, ISABELL LOUISE - Isabell Louise Raynes, loving wife of Kenneth Raynes, of Summerville, NB, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1st, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1934 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Hazel (Forsyth) Mercer. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Mercer. Besides her loving husband, Kenneth, she is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Elizabeth), of Carters Point, Frederick (Lisa), of Milkish Creek, and Michael, of Milkish Creek; daughter, Marie Louise Rowley (Donald), of Carters Point; brothers, Donald Mercer (Janet), of Rothesay, John Mercer, of Jefferies Corner, Clinton Mercer, (Barbara), of Upperton, Barry Mercer, of Jefferies Corner, and Aubrey Mercer, of Mills Cove; sisters, Eileen Nichols (Doug), of Saint John, Nettie Jones (Lloyd), of Grand Bay-Westfield, Lois, of Alberta, Lauretta Jennings (Charles), of Grand Bay-Westfield, Eva Hatty, of Saint John, and Audrey St. Amand (Bill), of Jefferies Corner; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Harding’s Point Loyalist Cemetery.
