It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cyril Maxwell Day announce his passing at the Interfaith Home for Seniors Citizens, Corner Brook, NL on September 15, 2009 at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: his wife Mildred, stepchildren Carol (Arthur), Helen (Terry), Robert and Arch, grandchildren, Christine, Stephanie, Shawn, Geoffrey, Timothy and Justin, great-grandchildren, David and Jack, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 18, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Major Wayne Pike & Major Calvin Fudge officiating. Interment to follow on Friday, September 18, 2009 at The Salvation Army Cemetery in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL with Major Terry Hopkins officiating. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or to a charity of one’s choice.
