It is with great sadness that the Wallis family says goodbye to Pete Wallis.

Peter Kenneth Wallis passed away at the age of 52 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family in the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice in Kamloops, BC, in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 30th.

He was born November 30th, 1958 in Red Deer, AB to Colonel Alan and Florence Shirley Wallis. The fourth of five boys, he spent many years residing in different parts of the country as well as England with his family.

Pete is survived by his devoted wife Cindy whom he met in October of 1980; as well as his loving children Chris (Chelsea), Jenny, and Lindsay. He also leaves behind his beloved mother Shirley and loyal brothers Doug (Susan), Mike (Jessie), Rick (Charlotte), and John (Hilary) with countless nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

There will be a Service held to honour Pete's rich life on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ed Lewis presiding. The Service will be held at Summit Drive Baptist Church, located at 1975 Summit Drive,
Kamloops, BC, with refreshments to follow.

Should friends desire, a donation to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation made in Peter's name would be greatly appreciated.
