She was the daughter of the late Mark and Florence (LeBlanc) Chiasson.
Although born in Reserve Mines, Carmella lived for some time in Boston, before taking up permanent residence in California.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jerry; brothers, Charles, Wilfred ‘Kid’, Howard ‘Hurley’, Aloysius and Harry and by her sister, Georgina Wood.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Heidi); grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan, California; her sister, Stella MacKinnon, Boston and several nieces and nephews.
All funeral arrangements have taken place in California.
