To bring you to our mind,
For the days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find.
If all the world were ours to give,
We'd give it yes, and more,
To see the face of our son
Come smiling at the door.
When all is still and silent,
And sleep forsakes our eyes,
Our thoughts are in silent grave
Where our dear son lies
