Blacquiere
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 of Richard Peter Blacquiere of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Calgary, Alta., aged 68 years. Richard was born on Sept. 9, 1942 in Summerside , P.E.I. to his late parents Raymond and Rose (nee Peters) Blacquiere. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Rose Marie Davidson of Owen Sound, Ont., Elva (Don) Aube of Summerside, Shelia Findlayson of Gravenhurst, Ont., Bonita (Marve) Rabjohn of Omemee, Ont., Claude of Ajax, Ont., Urie (Theresa) of Summerside, Desmond (Pat) of Cobourg, Ont., and Charlie (Ivy) of Surrey, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother Greg. Following cremation, a Committal Service will be held at St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Memorial donations in Richard's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.
