McCARTHY, ANNA - At Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, July 4, 2011, Miss Anna McCarthy of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 94 years. Born at Grand Falls in 1916, she was a daughter of the late James W. and Edna (McCluskey) McCarthy. She is survived by sisters and brothers, Mary Johndro of Limestone, Maine, Theresa Lukaskiewicz of Phoenix, Arizona, Sister Doreen McCarthy of Fredericton, Marguerite McCormick (Al) of Woodstock and Basil McCarthy of Toronto, sisters-in-law, Ida McCarthy (late Vernon) of Grand Falls and Elsie McCarthy (late Merlin) of Fredericton, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Cecil, Leitha Doody, Dorothy McDonald, Merlin, Doris Cote, Vernon, Lorraine Paradis and Bill.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 8th at 2:15 p.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the Assumption Cemetery. www.oregans.ca
