November 26, 1956 – July 5, 2011. Calvin slipped away into God’s care at his home in Whiteway surrounded by family, after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, aged 54 years. He leaves to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving, his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Eleanor, daughter Christa, son-in-law Desmond; Poppa’s two very special little boys, Nathan and Logan, son Bradley, loving parents: Elsie and John; sisters: Judy and Debbie (Don), mother-in-law, Freda Reid, many nephews, nieces whom he loved and always tried to share advice with, sister and brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles especially Geneva and Ed who have stood by his side through this journey, cousins and a large circle of friends who were always close by to share the rough times as well as the good. Special thanks to care workers Irene, Greta, Jackie and Richard for such support and loving care. Resting at St. Andrew’s United Church, Whiteway on Wednesday, July 6, 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrew’s United Church, Whiteway on Friday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery.
