Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, of Barry Doucette of Country View Drive, Charlottetown, aged 59 years.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Mallard) Doucette. Cherished father of Melissa and Alyson Doucette. Barry is also fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Ernie (Betty) Coyle, Paul (Terri-Anne) Doucette, Alan (Diane) Doucette, Ronnie (Sandra) Doucette, Arlene (Ron) MacDonell; sisters in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan (Carl, deceased) Doucette, Walter K. Mallard, Francis Mallard (Pauline), Margaret Bruce (Byron, deceased), Helen Mallard (Bordon) and Shirley Mallard; and many nieces and nephews.
Barry was predeceased by his parents, Isadore and Muriel (nee Dunn) Doucette; brothers, Jimmy and Carl, and sister, Janet Bower, and his father and mother-in-law, Walter and Margaret Mallard, and sister-in-law, Rose Mallard.
Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home until 10:45 on Friday morning, July 8, 2011, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
