(1915-2008) - Passed peacefully away after a short illness at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Frances Mary Lacey, age 92. Predeceased by her husband John Francis Lacey on March 17, 1993. Leaving to mourn sons: Ed (Pearl), Victoria, BC, Jim (Anne) Salisbury, NB; daughters: Agnes Benoit (Stephen), Port au Port, Catherine Murphy (Joe), Calgary, Alberta, Joan Royle (Joe), St. John's, Doris Murphy (Bill), Maple Ridge, BC, Isabel Barron (Martin), St. John's, Mary Squires (Bob), St. John's, Rosemary Boydston (Ron), St. John's; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sisters: Isabel Galway, Hilda Whelan and Josephine Martin; brother Edward Martin (Lil); sisters-in-law Margaret Lacey and Mary Bordigan; brothers-in-law: Joe Lacey (Marie) and Ron Lacey; also a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, time and place to be announced. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
