Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 at the age of 79 years, William J. Maher. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his daughter Judy, son Glenn (Paula); three grand-children: Jessicah, Eugene and Stephen; sister Ellen Parsons, along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee Daye) 1975; parents Thomas and Katherine; sisters: Marguerite and Mary; brother Sandy. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Curling on Thursday, September 17th at 10:30 am.
