Mrs. Marjorie Knarr of Moose Jaw, passed away at the Craik Health Centre on Monday September 14, 2009. Marjorie was born in Moose Jaw on January 28, 1916. She married Ernest Knarr on November 20, 1947 and they celebrated fifty years together, prior to his passing in 2002. They farmed in the Eskbank district for forty years until retiring to Creston, BC for eighteen years until moving to Moose Jaw to the Bentley. She is also predeceased by her parents, granddaughter Dana Knarr; brothers Harold MacLachlan, Claire MacLachlan, and Gordon MacLachlan; and sister Norine Klinck. Marjorie is survived by her son, Wayne (Marilyn), grandson Eric (Holly Scott), granddaughter Laura, great-grandchildren Kylie and Cameron Knarr; brother Donald (Shirley) MacLachlan, sister-in-law Doreen MacLachlan, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday September 19, 2009 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Betty Bradley will officiate. Cremation, with memorialization at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials to the Craik & District Health Centre, Craik, SK., S0G 0V0 would be appreciated.
