We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who supported us during the recent loss of our dear father, John George Nicholson. Thanks to all who attended the visitation, memorial and reception, as well as those who called, sent cards, flowers, donations, and e-mail condolences. Thanks to those who brought food to the house and to the wonderful folks who hosted the reception after the memorial service. Thanks, also, to the Reverend Ritchie Robinson and to the Reverend Cameron Brett for the beautiful service. To organist Susan MacDonald, to Gaelic soloist Catrina Parsons, and to the choir, thank you for your gift of music in performing Dad’s favorite hymns. Thanks to those who honoured Dad by serving as pallbearers. Thanks to Jim, Kate and Sharon of the Sunset Funeral Co-Operative, Margaree Valley, for your sensitivity and professionalism in our time of need. We also want to express our appreciation to Dr. Carlyle Chow, the staff of Victoria County Memorial Hospital and the staff and volunteers of Alderwood Rest Home. We extend a special thanks to volunteer Bucky Carmichael whose Gaelic solos were a joy to Dad. We have lost a very special person.
