THANK YOU: We the heartbroken family of Jack Smith would like to acknowledge all who celebrated his life with us. We especially appreciaed your sharing your stories and life experiences of Jack. These memories will be forever etched in our minds. There are several people we want to thank. We are grateful to the Chemo and Palliative Care staff of CBRH. To those who participated in his church service sent gifts of food, flowers, cards, donations and visits know that they were appreciated. To the staff of CBRM, Addiction Services, your support was overwhelming. The Provincial dart shooters that travelled to honor Jack, a warm thank you. A special thank you to Ann Bona-Berziak (QEII), Patient Advocate, for her tireless devotion to our family. To Dr Lisa Gillis (Palliative Care) for always being present for Jack, a gift he always gave freely to others, you returned to him. Jack's strong belief in his higher power leaves us with hope to be with him again. To our families who were there every step of Jack's journey, a heartfelt thank you. The professionalsim of Pier Funeral Home, certainly eased our struggle.
