BEULAH BAILEY
Beulah Fern Bailey passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital on Monday, September 14, 2009, with her family by her side at the age of 86 years old. Beulah was born on April 14, 1923 to Elsie and Bert Leask, the youngest of five children. On April 19, 1944 she married Wesley Bailey and had two children. Beulah is survived by her loving family: her daughter Wendy Fallis; her grandchildren Dean (Joanne), Maureen (Alex) and Colleen (Rob); her great-grandchildren Jared, Aidan, Mia and Brooke; her sisters Lena Bailey and Maisie Tweedie; her sister-in-law Ethel Brewster as well as nieces, nephews and other family. She was predeceased by her husband Wesley; her infant son Patrick; her parents Elsie (nee Adams) and Bert Leask; her brother Wilfred Leask; her sister Norma Bailey; her husband’s parents Harriet (nee Welch) and Nelson Bailey; her numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 from the Calvary United Church - 114 – 25 Street East. Reverend Avonda McKay will officiate. Interment will take place in the Garden of Devotion, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
