Leona Marie Applegate
(nee Landry)

On July 6, 2011, Leona Marie Applegate passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 76 years. Leona is survived by her loving husband Ken of 58 years of marriage; son Brian (Lorette) Applegate & their son Nicholas; daughter Elaine (Ian) Campbell & their sons Bryce and Kevin; daughter Bonnie (Ken) Jurick & their sons Matthew and Bradley; three great grandsons Zane, Raith and Austin; her sisters Elise (Denis) Milburn, Evelyn (Ed) Dore, Sister Helen Landry, Eva (Ed) Tash and Rose (Lorne) Enns; her brothers Ed (Doris) Landry, Eugene (Rosemarie) Landry, Art (Maggie) Landry and Dennis (April) Landry; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons Lyle and David Applegate; her parents Ed and Lucy Landry; siblings Roland, Florence, Simonne and her mother and father-in-law Fred and Mildred Applegate. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
