Passed peacefully away on September 15th, 2009 in St. John’s, George Ash of Hant’s Harbour, age 83 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 58 years Bernice (Critch); sons: Harry (Marg), Terry (Rose); five grandchildren: Wanda (Chad), James, Stephen, Matthew and Shane Henley; six great-grandchildren: Lucas, Haleigh, Lincoln, Dustin, Stephen, Shannon. Predeceased by his father Justin Ash, mother Dora Ash of Hant’s Harbour, four brothers Moses, Stan, Ronald, Victor, three sisters Violet, Louise, Winifred. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17th, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Friday, September 18th, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19th, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Green’s Funeral Home on Saturday, September 19th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Hant’s Harbour.
