It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful and dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and soul. Marjorie passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on September 14, 2009 at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex at the age of 85. Predeceased by her dear and devoted husband Howard. Leaving to mourn are her loving children: Howard (Mary), Brenda Murrin (Mike), Baxter (Patricia), Sandra Fontaine (Yves); grandchildren: Christopher Murrin (Pamela), Paul Murrin, Johnathan (Bonnie), Jeff, Jennifer, Andrew (Robyn), Christine Fontaine, Daniel Fontaine, Sarah Fontaine; two very special great-grandchildren: Kailey and Noah Murrin; sister Voida Dawe (Jim); sisters-in-law: Nellie, Janie and Florence; as well as a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Michael and All Angels Church, St. Clare Ave., Friday, September 18 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Field of Honor, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
