Passed away surrounded by his loving family after a short but courageous battle with cancer at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday July 10, 2011, Albert Leslie Short aged 83 years of Deep Bight. Predeceased by parents William & Kate; brothers George & Fred; sister Myrtle and brother in law Frank Adey. Left with fond and loving memories his wife, Margaret of 53 years; loving daughter Jenny & precious granddaughter Arlene (Leo); nieces Kate (Zachary), Lynette (Noah) and nephew Louis (Susannah, Johanna & Josiah) along with a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at the United Church, Deep Bight on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 1 p.m.. Memorial Service will take place from the United Church Deep Bight at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Deep Bight. In his memory flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer society for Daffodil Place, St. John’s, N.L.
