AUSTIN, N. Louise (nee Attwood)– Passed peacefully away on November 19, 2008, Louise Austin, age 79 years. Left with fond and loving memories her husband of 60 years, Bruce; six daughters: Jeanette Snelgrove (Norman), Linda Andrews (Derek), Trudy Austin, Barbara Byrne (Rick), Jill Taylor (Robert) and Janet Evans (Ralph); grandchildren: Jeremy Snelgrove (Erin), Amanda Ternan (Stephen), Andrew Snelgrove, Tracy Stone (Keith), Robin Byrne (Ashley), Nicole Byrne (Nick), Brad Byrne, Samantha Taylor, Deven Taylor and Trevor Evans; and great-grandchildren: Owen, Danica, Dominic and Cameron. Also left to mourn brothers: Cyril Attwood (Jeanette), Gerry Attwood (Muriel); sisters: Anne James, Inez Keeping (Roy), Joyce Kelsey (Roger), Barbara Bursey (Jim), Joan Miller (Roy) and Judy Hodder; sister-in-law Rema Attwood; brother-in-law Ron Crabbe and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to caregivers Sherry and Marilyn and the staff of North 2A. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. from Gower Street United Church with interment to follow at the General Protestant Cemetery.
