— February 11, 1922 – July 10, 2011. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 10, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, Gladys Temple of Long Cove in her 89th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jacob (March 17, 2007) and grandson Curtis Warren (March 10, 1980). Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her eight children, four daughters and four sons; Louise (Robert) Warren, Chance Cove, Geraldine (Wilfred) Martin, Joan (Austin) Murphy, Marlene (Barry) Small, all of Ontario, Kenneth (Susan), Arthur (Vera), David and Wallace (Betty) all of Long Cove; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by sister, Sarah Jones, St. John’s, three brothers-in-law; Levi (Elsie) Temple, Clement (Doris) Temple, Cyril (Patricia) Temple, sister-in-law, Marion White, as well as a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Monday, July 11th 2 - 4 & 7- 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2 - 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, resting at Bethel United Church, Norman’s Cove until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from Bethel United Church on Wednesday, July 13, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Bethel United Church Cemetery.
