At the Prince Edward Home on Monday, June 20, 2011, Frank Barry “Sam” Parker, Charlottetown, age 87 years. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Parker was a flight lieutenant who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, serving from 1942 to 1945. Beloved husband of Vera (nee Rawson). Dear father of Robert (Hannah), Barry (Sally) and Kim (Catherine). Lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren, Joel, Angela, Seth, Rebecca, Amy, Jesse, Ian, Averil and David and by his great-grandson, Declan. Brother of Shirley. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 1 p.m. No visitation by request.
