It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOSEPH HYNES of Terrenceville announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at the age of 94. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Theresa of 72 years; Sons Pius (Isabel) of Terrenceville, Joseph (Melita) of Medicine Hat, and Stan (Rhona) of Mount Pearl; Daughters Rebecca Hickey (Gus) of Terrenceville, Mary Blum (Peter) of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Theresa Power (Max Rodway) of Creston South, and Christina Banfield (Clarence) of Labrador City; Brother George Hynes of Terrenceville; Daughter-in-law Ann Marie Hynes of Calgary, AB; 15 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Sons George and Norman, 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters. Funeral Mass took place on Monday July 11, 2011 at 10:00am from St. Joseph’s RC Church in Terrenceville. Cremation followed. In Joseph’s memory, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s RC Church or flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes.
