It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Lucy Wall on Monday, July 11, 2011, at the Cove Guest Home, Sydney.
Lucy was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a member of St. Anthony Daniel parish. She has a great sense of humour and loved animals.
Lucy is survived by her daughter, Bernadette Wall, Sydney; Tigger and Taby, her furry friends; mother-in-law, Rita Wall, Sydney; sisters-in-law, Sister Mary Terrence, U.S., Shirley McCormack, Sydney, Joan (Ray Boudreau), Sydney, Brenda (John) Wall, Florida, Mary Gibson, Kentville, Pam (Austin) Langlois, Sydney; brothers-in-law, Richard Wall, Sydney River, Lorne Wall, Shelburne, Johnny (Beverley), Rexdale, Ont., Bobby (Candy) Wall, White Rock, B.C., and Earl Wall, Sydney as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Daniel Wall (2008).
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 13 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14 in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Donations may be sent to the Cove Guest Home or a charity of choice.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Cove Guest Home for their outstanding care given to Lucy during her stay.
